Medical Affairs Lead Oncology (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Oncology team, including setting goals, developing, and implementing strategies, and managing performance

• Oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the Oncology department

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address opportunities for improvement

• Monitor and analyze data to inform decision making and drive continuous improvement

• Collate field insights that will be shared internally as appropriate

• Manage budgets and resources within the Oncology department

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

• Ensure that all team members adhere to relevant policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

• Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential

Qualifications

• MD, Pharmacist or PhD in life science (MD is strongly preferred)

• Industry experience in Medical Affairs is required, and therapeutic area experience is desirable

• Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop and implement effective strategies

• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-performing teams and in a matrix organization

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Strong ethics and integrity

The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 91.000, - and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
