About the Role:
At Takeda, putting patients first drives everything we do. As Director, RDGM DD&T Business Partner – PDT R&D, you will play a pivotal leadership role in accelerating the digital transformation of Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) Research & Development.
As the strategic technology partner to PDT R&D leadership, you will shape and execute the digital strategy, ensuring technology investments align with business priorities and deliver measurable value. You will drive innovation, strengthen collaboration across R&D and Manufacturing, and enable data-driven decision-making through modern digital capabilities, AI, and emerging technologies.
This role serves as the primary technology advisor for PDT R&D, championing strategic partnerships, governance, and enterprise-wide digital initiatives while upholding Takeda's values of Patient, Trust, Reputation, and Business.

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 6.244,19 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary is higher and depends on your professional experience and qualifications.

Medikamente, die in Österreich entstehen, erreichen Patientinnen und Patienten in mehr als 100 Ländern. Mitten in diesem Netz steht Takeda Pharma Ges.m.b.H., die österreichische Vertriebs- und Marketingorganisation des japanischen Pharmakonzerns Takeda. Ihren Sitz hat sie im Euro Plaza im Süden Wiens. Von dort aus betreut sie seit Mitte der 1990er-Jahre das Geschäft für den österreichischen Markt.
Takeda ist ein forschendes Biopharmaunternehmen mit Hauptsitz in Tokio. Weltweit arbeiten dort rund 47.000 Menschen in etwa 80 Ländern. Die Forschung konzentriert sich auf einige wenige Felder mit hohem medizinischem Bedarf: Krebserkrankungen, seltene genetische Erkrankungen, Erkrankungen des Nervensystems und des Magen-Darm-Trakts. Dazu kommen Impfstoffe und Therapien aus Blutplasma.
Österreich ist dabei kein Nebenschauplatz. Es ist der größte Standort im weltweiten Takeda-Netzwerk. Rund 4.500 Beschäftigte arbeiten hier entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette, von der Forschung über die Plasmagewinnung bis zur Produktion. Entwickelt und gefertigt wird in Wien und Linz, ein Labor für die Qualitätskontrolle steht in Orth an der Donau. In den Produktionshallen führen Pharmatechnologinnen und Anlagenführer die Anlagen, in den Labors prüfen Analytikerinnen jede Charge, bevor sie das Haus verlässt.
Takeda Pharma Ges.m.b.H. ist die kaufmännische Drehscheibe dieser Organisation. Vom Euro Plaza aus bringt sie die Arzneimittel des Konzerns zu Ärztinnen, Apotheken und Patienten in Österreich. Hier finden sich Berufsfelder wie Marketing, Market Access, Medizin und Vertrieb. Es sind Menschen, die den Nutzen eines Präparats für Fachkreise aufbereiten, Erstattungsfragen mit den Krankenkassen klären und den Kontakt zu Ärztinnen und Spitälern halten. Die Produktion selbst liegt bei den Schwestergesellschaften an den Standorten Wien und Linz.
