Your Key Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of immediate Leader and routine operational guidance of others.
• Follow standard work instructions and work specifications.
• Collect, record, document and enter all data as required.
• Operate all machines within the defined work area.
• Familiar with the set up, calibration and maintenance of all tools, equipment, systems, processes and machines which are used to perform work.
• Perform required operator TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) and complete fault tags where required.
• Perform required machine cleaning & area cleaning as scheduled and complete faut tags where required.
• Perform basic problem solving and basic troubleshooting to resolve production/process/TPM/5S issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of 5S & TPM work.
• Monitor & track oil levels/usage & usage of maintenance parts on TPMs for all machines and initiate troubleshooting where required.
• Perform inspection on own work usingstandards as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments.
• Confirm operational/technical questions with area Setter (and/or Technician where applicable) or Leader when necessary. 

Your Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12
• Mechanical aptitude
