AI Developer

Department: Data Insights & Artificial Intelligence Location: Cairo, Egypt As an AI Developer, 

As an AI Developer part of the Data Insights & AI team, you will design, develop, and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions that address real business challenges across multiple domains, including Route-to-Market, Omnichannel, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain, and Finance. You will work end-to-end, from identifying opportunities with business stakeholders to building scalable, production-ready solutions using Azure and Databricks. The role combines applied machine learning, Generative AI and strong engineering practices to deliver measurable business impact across our 29 markets.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Solution Design & Delivery

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges and identify high-impact AI use cases
• Translate business problems into structured AI/GenAI solution designs
• Define end-to-end cloud architectures for scalable AI solutions

2. AI & GenAI Development

• Develop machine learning models and data-driven solutions
• Build Generative AI applications (e.g., LLM-based assistants, RAG pipelines, APIs)
• Work with large structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights

3. Production & Integration

• Deploy AI models and services using Azure and/or Databricks
• Develop scalable pipelines for production environments
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems via APIs and endpoints
• Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability

4. Innovation & Experimentation

• Develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for new AI and GenAI use cases
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess business impact
• Scale successful prototypes into production

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• 4+ years of experience developing AI / Machine Learning (ML) solutions
• Hands-on GenAI experience (LLMs, RAG, Function Calling, MCP, Prompt Eng.)
• Strong Python and SQL coding skills
• Experience with cloud development (MSFT Azure or GCP or AWS) and Databricks
• Solid ML and statistical modeling knowledge
• Experience delivering production-ready solutions consuming APIs, deployments and endpoints
