Role
As a Graduate Intern, you will support the development of intelligent agents that enhance Non-Financial Risk (NFR) management within ING NL. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying advanced data science, AI, and automation techniques to real-world risk challenges in a highly regulated banking environment.
You will work on designing, building, and testing agent-based solutions that support risk identification, monitoring, and reporting processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to bridge data science and risk management while contributing to innovation within the bank.
The team
You will join the NFR NL team within the CRO NL domain, based in Amsterdam. The team focuses on managing and improving ING NL’s NFR reporting, processes and frameworks, including areas such as IT risk and operational risk. ING’s NFR function focusses on Cyber Security, Operational Resilience, Fraud management, Physical Security and all other areas that are linked to people, systems, processes and/or external events.
We are increasingly leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions, including Co-Pilot agents to improve efficiency, horizon scanning, and control effectiveness. You will collaborate with risk experts in a multidisciplinary, innovative environment.
