Your mission

As a Senior Developer / Tech Lead (m/f/d) you are a driving force for GBTEC's software development. You use your in-depth knowledge of Java-based software systems for the continuous further development of our award-winning BIC BPM Platform. In addition, you are happy to pass on your knowledge to your team colleagues and thus ensure that GBTEC keeps its finger on the pulse. You will act as an interface between product management and developers.

• Further development of existing functions and implementation of new product features of our BIC BPM Platform in an agile, international development team
• Active involvement in the further development of development processes and tools, incorporating the latest technological trends
• Ensuring product quality through a testing-driven approach (TDD / BDD)
• Actively passing on your knowledge within the team and mentoring junior developers
• Implementation and consideration of cross-sectional requirements such as IT security, availability and performance
• Coordination of interfaces between backend and frontend components and strategic cooperation with our coding architect

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience and very good knowledge of development with Java and Spring
• Extensive practical experience with one or more of the following technologies: Spring-Boot, Spring-Cloud, Spring-Security, Spring-Data, , Messaging (RabbitMQ), Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Maven, Docker
• Experience in the development of agentic systems
• Expertise in the area of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD, CI/CD, clean code and agile development processes
• Very good English and good German skills
• Completed university degree in computer science or equivalent
• Enthusiasm for new challenges and goal-oriented implementation of solutions
