Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the business segment manager automotive. In your responsibility you will identify and develop new business opportunities within the global automotive industry, build long-term customer relationships, including contracting and frame agreements and drive sustainable growth for our cutting tools and manufacturing solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Automotive sector and define sustainable growth strategies
- Build, maintain and expand strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers and key industry stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, competitive activities and emerging technologies to identify growth potential
- Continous development of machining solutions to be recognized as best in class in close cooperation with Sales, Product Management, Application Engineering, R&D and Operations
- Lead customer projects, generate strategic business plans, business reviews, forecasts and presentations on market developments, opportunities and business performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field; MBA is considered an advantage
- Several years of experience in Business Development, Key Account Management or Technical Sales within the Automotive, Manufacturing or Industrial sector
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills combined with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Business fluent English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally
