Position overview

For our international logistics and supply chain environment, we are seeking a Project Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain Transformation (m/f/d) who will plan, manage, and successfully implement cross-functional logistics, shipping, and process optimization projects.

In this role, you will lead strategic and operational change initiatives across the supply chain—from analyzing existing processes and developing viable target concepts to implementation and post-launch support. You will coordinate interdisciplinary teams, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that projects are successfully completed in terms of quality, time, cost, and long-term effectiveness. The focus is on logistics, shipping, inventory optimization, lean transformation, ERP-related process changes, and the interface with export and customs processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating international, cross-functional supply chain projects from initiation through implementation and handover
  • Defining project scope, objectives, milestones, responsibilities and decision requirements, and following up on agreed actions
  • Coordinating collaboration between sales, order management, product management, production, logistics, procurement, service, finance and other internal and external partners
  • Managing feasibility assessments for new customer requirements, rollouts and supply chain solutions, including capacity, material, process, cost and logistics aspects
  • Identifying, assessing and transparently communicating project risks, dependencies and target conflicts, and developing suitable actions and escalation paths
  • Preparing status reports, decision documents and management updates for relevant stakeholders and steering committees
  • Creating and further developing demand and shipment plans in close cooperation with the involved functions
  • Analyzing demand, capacity and material availability and developing robust scenarios within the S&OP process
  • Initiating and implementing improvements in processes, governance, planning and collaboration across the end-to-end supply chain

Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Experience in leading or coordinating cross-functional projects, preferably in an international supply chain or production environment
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes; knowledge of demand planning, S&OP, capacity planning or order fulfilment is an advantage
  • Ability to structure complex topics, set priorities and bring different interests together into practical solutions
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and confidence in working with figures, scenarios and decision documents
  • Clear and reliable communication and strong stakeholder management across functions, hierarchy levels and countries
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and project management tools is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken German and English and a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Openness for travelling

  • Exclusive employee discounts such as Corporate Benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and local social counseling for professional support in private and professional life situations
